You wish, want, work for one thing, but instead something else happens; the thing you most dreaded, the thing you tried your best to stop. And then it turns out that what you wanted, all you wanted and more, stood hidden behind exactly what you didn’t, and to get to one you had to take the other first.

I don’t want to write because people always complain about what I say. If I was talking to a friend and they told me this, I would say “no shit, how boring would your writing be if it didn’t piss anyone off?” But it’s difficult because this blog is primarily about trying. We are trying to…

    A Facade

    sarahs-rhapsody:

    Shelves laden with dust encapsulate
Bindings and pages in perfect condition.
You feel grand; hungry eyes of hundreds
pour themselves at the sight, but I am
not one of them. Not for you.

Only a few, and worn out
    From the overuse.
Who are you? Found in a pile
    rescued from ashen fate,
    Now, I am impressed.

You need to kiss the damn person you want to kiss and just be done with it. It’s important to feel like you can still surprise yourself. We put up these walls now just so we can break them down later and feel like we’ve grown. It’s not so much about the kiss itself. It’s more about proving…

  8. End Scene…

…It was a fierce battle, blood and bodies everywhere.

Frantic I search, my love, where is she… There! underneath a lichen…

My heart races, as I run.

In my arms, her color is fading. The sun will soon rise. “No not like this, not you.”

With no concern, I draw her silver dagger, I slit my wrist.

Blood starts to trickles, on to her lips.

As my color fads, hers’ regains. She brings her hands to steady my wrist… I’m growing weak.

Thirstily she drinks, her fangs sink into my skin. It’s her nature, it’s beyond her control. It’s no fault of her own.

Into her arms I fall… “Why?” said she, “Why did you do this?”

    It’s my purpose…..
